About the Test Sitting your practical driving test is an exciting time. There are several different steps to the test and during your lessons you will be prepared for all of these. This includes:
Checking your eyesight Safety questions (i.e. show me tell me) Your ability to drive Vehicle reversing Driving independently On average the test will take 40 minutes and half of this will be independent driving. You will either need to follow Sat Nav directions or follow a series of traffic signs. When you arrive at your test centre, make sure that you have your licence, theory test certificate, as well as a car.
